Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the InferenceHub website, API gateway, and related services (the “Service”) operated by InferenceHub (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

InferenceHub is an API gateway that lets you route requests from compatible developer tools and AI coding agents to third-party large-language-model providers using an API key we issue to you. We act as an intermediary: we authenticate your request, forward it to a model provider, meter token usage, and bill it against your prepaid credit balance. We do not create the underlying models and we are not responsible for their outputs.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account and API keys.
• You must keep your API keys confidential. Treat a key like a password; anyone holding it can spend your credit. Notify us promptly of any suspected compromise.
• You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident of, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on any applicable denied-party or sanctions list.

3. Prepaid credit & payments

• Prepaid model. The Service is prepaid. You add credit (denominated in U.S. dollars) and each request is metered by its input, output, and cache token counts and deducted from your balance.
• Top-ups. You may add credit by card (processed by Stripe) or by cryptocurrency (processed by NOWPayments). Your use of those processors is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
• Crypto payments. Cryptocurrency transactions are settled on network confirmation, are irreversible, and are not subject to chargebacks. You are solely responsible for sending the correct asset, amount, and network. Credit is applied based on the value confirmed and settled to us.
• Nature of credit. Credit may be used only to pay for the Service. It is not a deposit, is non-transferable, bears no interest, and is not redeemable for cash except where required by applicable law.
• Trial & promotional credit is provided at our discretion, may expire, and is never refundable or withdrawable.
• Refunds. Purchased credit is generally non-refundable. We may, at our discretion and where permitted by law, refund an unused paid balance, less any applicable processing fees.
• Pricing & taxes. Current per-token pricing is shown in your dashboard and may change. You are responsible for any taxes other than taxes on our net income.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any law, or infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
• generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content, or violate the usage policies of the underlying model providers;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or circumvent the security, rate limits, or billing of the Service;
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted; or
• use the Service on behalf of any sanctioned person or in any embargoed jurisdiction.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and, as between you and us, the outputs you receive, subject to the underlying model providers’ terms. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit your inputs and for your use of any outputs. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate; you must evaluate them before relying on them.

6. Service availability

We provide the Service on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, perform maintenance, or impose limits at any time. The Service depends on third-party providers whose availability we do not control.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY MODEL OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, unused trial credit is forfeited; treatment of any unused paid balance is as described in Section 3.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
