Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account data. When you sign up we store your email address and a hashed credential (or a third-party sign-in identifier). We do not require your legal name, address, or phone number to use the gateway.
• Billing data. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; cryptocurrency top-ups are processed by our crypto payment provider. We store the resulting credit balance and transaction metadata, but we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage metadata. For each API request we record metadata needed to meter and bill usage — timestamp, model, token counts, and status — associated with your API key. Usage metadata never includes the content of your requests.
• Marketing attribution. When you arrive from a campaign link or another website, two first-party cookies (ih_first and ih_last) note the campaign parameters, the referring site, and the page you landed on — kept for up to 90 days, with no cross-site tracking and no third parties involved — and if you create an account, that snapshot is linked to it so we can tell which channels bring people here.

Your prompts and completions

InferenceHub is a byte-faithful gateway. The content of your requests (prompts) and of the model responses (completions) is processed in memory to route, transmit, and meter your request — and that is all. We do not store your prompts or completions, we do not use them to train models, and we do not sell them. Our application logs record request metadata (request ids, model, token counts, status, timings), not request content. Content is transmitted only to the upstream provider that serves the model you selected, solely to fulfill your request.

Your intellectual property

Your prompts, your code, and the outputs you receive are yours. We claim no ownership of your content and no license to it beyond the limited right to transmit and process it as needed to provide the service. Because we do not store your content, there is no archive of it for anyone — including us — to read. Our Terms of Service carry the matching contractual commitment.

The hosted chat app

The no-storage rule above describes the API gateway. Our hosted chat app (chat.inferencehub.tech) necessarily works differently: it stores your conversation history and any files you upload so your sessions persist across visits. That history is private to your account, and you can delete conversations in the app at any time. Requests the chat app sends on your behalf go through the same gateway rules described above. The desktop app is a thin client for the same service and collects no telemetry.

How we use information

• To operate the gateway and route your requests to upstream models.
• To meter usage, calculate balances, and process payments.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents — using account and usage metadata, not request content.
• To respond to your support requests.

Third parties

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the service:

• Inference. Your request content goes to the provider serving the model you selected — our primary inference platform or, for some models, a direct connection to the model’s vendor — solely to fulfill your request. Upstream providers handle content under their own data policies.
• Payments. Our payment processors (card and cryptocurrency) receive what they need to take payment. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Hosting. The gateway and its databases run on managed cloud infrastructure, which hosts the account, billing, and usage metadata described above — not your request content.
• Web analytics. Our websites use a privacy-focused analytics service to measure traffic in aggregate. It sets no cookies, builds no visitor profiles, and does not follow you across sites.

Beyond that, we run no advertising or error-tracking SDKs on our sites, and the gateway API your requests flow through runs no third-party analytics, advertising, or error-tracking SDKs at all. Service providers may use data only to provide their service to us.

Data retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Usage metadata is retained to support billing and dispute resolution. Chat history in the hosted chat app is kept until you delete it. You may request deletion of your account at any time; we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except records we are legally required to keep.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and scoped API keys that you can revoke at any time. Upstream provider credentials we hold are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit what we store and who can access it.
